FMI, Brazil & Karlshamn, Sweden
FMI Brazil This year we attended the FMI festival in Brazil for the first time. The festival saw worldwide delegates exhibiting their product to over 25,000 visitors.
After 28 hours travelling on 3 separate flights, Barry finally arrived in Brasilia...
as did Barry with his usual crazy enthusiasm when he was asked to hold a music business seminar to a selection of the visitors There was a lot of other fabulous music too...
 Petrobas stage

Acceptable in the 80's? The Petrobas girls... And as usual, Barry was continually promoting Gotham product Barry on the stand with AMMA's AnR magazine and the sampler Hanging with Marcus from Sunsplash With some Gotham samplers at Cultura FM Although there was an awful lot of fun in the sun
Karlshamn Music Festival, Sweden
This year we attended Karlshamn music festival and the annual Baltic Song Contest, in Sweden filmed by TVP (Poland). 700 artists and musicians performed over the three days. Once again this year, Barry was asked to be a judge on the Baltic Song Contest panel. and the streets of Karlshamn town are filled with over 200,000 people who travel from across Europe although the transport system isn't quite what we're used to... although the Camels were a little more reliable! The Baltic Song Contest saw ten contestants from the Baltic states, Ireland and Sweden. This year's winner was Jurga, solo artist from Lithuania Of course Barry did plenty of networking with his European friends Mikkel, manager of the Copenhagen Steel Band (left) and Peter Enckell (right)
